Life has interfered with my web site work. The website sat unedited or updated for so long, then it expired when I was not looking and finally my Aunt told me it was not working any more! I assured her she was mistaken but it was I who was wrong! Well I am back and I am determined to make this site better than before!
Please be patient with me as I begin to go through all the old website code and see what's good and what's not and look at ways to bring in more functionality to the website! Over the weekend I began looking for my old website archive's. Well it appears they were on a drive that failed quite a while ago. I also thought I had some on my laptop that my son killed several months ago.... not looking good. Well I used a little magic (it run's in the family, Salem witch trials and all) and I got the old laptop running and removed about 20 gigs of backup files 90 percent pictures. I have so much information that this could take a while. There are 1000's of pictures, document scans, word documents of family histories.... you name it I have some of it! For me figuring out how best to present this information and then sorting it all out is going to be a difficult job. We will get it done. In the mean time I will be adding pages here and there and albums of interest as time allows! Please keep checking back. I would love ideas or infomation sent to me for inclusion!
Meanwhile my sister Michelle Wilkins Cook has been busy working on a few websites of her own, one family related and a few dedicated to town histories in our local area. She has taken on quite a bit with these projects but you will see when you click on the links below that she has done an amazing job with this work!
